Guidance on Maintaining Asset Classification for Cybersecurity & Audit Requirements

I’m looking for the correct approach to maintain Asset Classification in ServiceNow to meet cybersecurity requirements, as well as NCA, ISO internal, and external audit expectations.
What is the recommended best practice for implementing and maintaining asset classification in the CMDB/ITAM modules?
Any guidance or examples from real implementations would be appreciated.
