How to assign company for shared certificates?

Hey,

I am importing certificates from Tanium to the Unique Certificate table in ServiceNow. I am assigning a company based on the lookup column, which checks the core_company table and retrieves the company from the related computer. This works fine when there is a one-to-one connection.

However, when a certificate is installed on multiple computers, each belonging to different customer environments, the company assignment becomes problematic. Currently, the ETL process assigns a customer environment to the certificate based on one of the computers, but this is incorrect.

I need to introduce a check in the process to determine if a certificate is installed on multiple computers. If it is, the company should not be assigned.

Where would be the best place to implement this check? Should this be handled in Integrationhub - ETL, Data Source or create an after Business rule?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks!
