How to Automate CMDB Data Upload Process in ServiceNow

Hi community

We currently upload CMDB data manually into ServiceNow. We would like to automate this process so that the data is regularly imported or updated in the CMDB without manual intervention.

Could you please suggest the best approach or best practices for automating CMDB data uploads?

Has anyone implemented this before? Would appreciate any guidance, examples, or configuration steps to set this up efficiently.

You can use the flow designer or schedule jobs.

You can create a standard upload file, asked user to place it common place or drive. Run the schedule job to pick it up n import set.

You can use the IntegrationHub-ETL application (IH-ETL) to automate the upload of data into the CMDB. It's the same framework that Service Graph Connectors use and ensures data is processed by the IRE.
