Either approach will work — you can either duplicate the existing dashboard or create a new one exclusively for ITIL users. @MohammadAmzad

@MohammadAmzad

As mentioned in my 1st response to your question you will have to create fresh dashboard.

2 Approaches

1) Either Duplicate and then delete those 2 tabs give correct sharing permissions (ITIL)

OR

2) create a fresh dashboard and exclude those 2 tabs and give correct sharing permissions

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi @MohammadAmzad ,

Thanks for sharing the screenshot I see what you mean: your CMDB Dashboard has multiple tabs, and the ServiceNow Discovery tab shows “Access to this content denied based on report_view ACLs” for ITIL users. You want to hide this tab from ITIL users so they don’t even see it, rather than leaving it blank.

As per my understanding why this happens
* Tabs on a Performance Analytics / Dashboard are defined as widgets or tabs within the dashboard definition.
* Visibility of content inside the widget is controlled by ACLs (e.g., report_view).
* But the tab itself is not hidden unless you explicitly configure roles on the dashboard widgets/tabs.
