The CI Relations formatter on a CI shows relationships with other CIs i.e. as recorded in the cmdb_rel_ci table. It also shows relationships with users (from cmdb_rel_person) and groups (cmdb_rel_group).
Is there a system-wide way to limit it to just show relationships with CIs, and not relationships with users or groups?
Below is a simple fictitious example, showing the bits I don't want to be displayed.
Thanks
Michael

Hi again Maik,
I logged a HI ticket for this (CS6870322), and the answer has come back that there is no OOTB way to show only CI relationships, and not relationships with users and groups.
The support engineer suggested I raise an Idea on the Idea portal, so I'll do that now.
Regards
Michael

Hi Maik, many thanks for coming back on this.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it will solve the problem. From trying it, you have to specify Parent & Child class and the relationship type to exclude. The Parent and Child classes only allow CI tables to be selected, and not Group or User. And the relationship types we're using for Groups and Users aren't listed either. So it seems that that "Relationship Type Exclusion List" only caters for CI relationships.
I think I'm going to have to raise a HI ticket and get SN's formal confirmation on whether it's possible to exclude the user and group relationships.
