How/When a CI is removed from a DCIG when it doesn't match the query of the CMDB Group ?

Hi dear community,
I would like to understand a specific case of the Dynamic CI groups (DCIG). My goal is to have a DCIG for default management of my CIs. My first case are the Linux servers. Here are the steps I took :
1. Use the Managed By Group of the class to fill in the Managed By Group
2. Create a CMDB Group with an encoded query. The class is Linux Server and the condition is "Managed by Group is the Managed By Group of the Linux class"
3. Create a DCIG with this CMDB Group
4. Create a Technical Service Offering (and a Technical service but not that relevant) with the appropriate Support Group and Change Group. I didn't put any Managed By Group as there is already one on the CIs with step 1.
The thing is, normally, when a CI is then assigned due to some condition to another DCIG with a TSO, the Managed By Group of this new TSO should have priority. Then, the CI should be removed of the default management DCIG and TSO as the Managed By Group is not matching anymore the encoded query.
The problem I have is that there is still the link between the DCIG and the CI in the svc_ci_assoc table and I don't know how/when this is update. I had a look at the scheduled jobs "CSDM sync data" and "Update Query Based Services" but those two doesn't look like having an impact on it.
Please let me know if you have any tips or knowledge to share with me !
Thanks in advance for your answers 😄

@matiasgatho Can you explain your ask more clearly? The table you mentioned, svc_ci_assoc, manages the link between Technical Service/Any other service and the CI. As you mentioned, DCIG is used for Service Mapping here, the link would exist.
Are you looking for the syncing of the group attributes, then the job does is 'CSDM Sync Group Attributes' on the TSO level.

Hi @VijayaMannapura,
Thanks for this first reply 😄
What I mean is that, on the DCIG's attributes, there is a CMDB Group. That CMDB Group contains the queries to identify the CIs that belong to it. My question is more : when are the CIs, identified by the queries of the CMDB Group, updated also on the DCIG level.
The way I can see if it is the case or not, was when looking in the svc_ci_assoc table, with a filter on service id => service classification | is | Technology Management Service.
So my question is : when and how are the link between the DCIG and the CIs done ?
Because then, if the queries are not matching a CI anymore, then the link of the CI and DCIG in the svc_ci_assoc should disappear.
