In CMDB data manager - How does DELETE Data policy work? Need complete details as the docs here and here does not mention all the details

Looking for details like - when delete happens, what happens to the relationship info? what happens to the CI data that is already referenced in the tasks? What all data the csv file will contain?

Hi @Suggy After the Delete Policy task is executed the entries are removed from the database and the list of CI's which are deleted are attached as CSV file to the policy task. Check the Result section from this documentation page for more information. https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-manageme...

By leveraging the "Delete Data" policy in CMDB Data Manager, organizations can automate the process of managing outdated or unnecessary data in the CMDB, improving data quality and efficiency while reducing manual effort.
designed to help manage the removal of obsolete or unwanted data from the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This policy allows administrators to define rules for automatically deleting records from specific CMDB tables based on certain criteria
