Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to create an interactive filter based on the Dependecy Views.
I have a Parent Application CI which has children CI's created in dependency views.
I want to create an interactive filter for my incident dashboard, so that when I select the Parent CI, incidents with children CI also gets to be included on my filter.
For example, in the interactive filter I select BA_A, then the children of this CI should also be included in the filter.
I tried cascading filter but I can't seemed to make it work because there's no way to map or capture the dependency view to map the relationship between the CI's based on the dependency view. Our cmdb table doesn't also have that parent and child field to see each ci's relationship. Appreciate whoever can give some suggestions or feedback as I can't seem to find any available solutions in other posts. Thank you in advance!

Hi @j0e matts
Let's have a look to the below thread.
Custom interactive filter examples
You can have a custom interactive filter, where we will use the parent CI to query all the child CI then you can build your own query and publish the filter in the dashboard.
Cheers,
Tai Vu

Thank you very much for your feedback! However, I'm still fairly new when it comes to scripting.
Is it possible to query from the dependency view table? if its not too much to ask if you can guide me how to build the script for the custom interactive filter and I can fill in the rest. Very much appreciated for whoever can advise again! thank you!
