Manufacturer field on hardware model table

I recently installed and set up the Normalization Data Services Plugin in my instance. I’d like to understand how it operates with the Hardware model table.
After configuring the plugin and running the scheduled job, the manufacturer field isn’t updating to the normalized name for existing records.

Could someone clarify whether the NDS plugin works for existing hardware model records or only for new ones?

Normalization Data Services works on both new and existing records, including hardware models, as long as the normalization job runs. However, it updates the normalized fields like Normalized Manufacturer and not the source field such as Manufacturer.

That is why you are not seeing any change in the Manufacturer field even after running the job.

Hi   @Vaibhav Chouhan
Thank for the response. But we had not installed Hardware Normalization Plugin ( com.sn_hwnorm) which you mentioned. We just installed Normalization Data Services Plugin( com.glide.data_services_canonicalization.client).
