Hi All,
I am configuring SG for Intune and there is a step to configure Mid Server.
Is it required to have mid server configured for SG-Intune. As its mentioned on Docs in its configuration steps - If needed, configure the MID Server. How do I identify if Mid server is needed or not? Is it a potential question for Intune Administrator?
If we need mid server, Do we need to follow any additional steps?

Hi, Mid server is playing an agent role to connect with Service Now and Microsoft intune. I'm seeing both are cloud apporach. You just check and run the schedule job with out mid server. If it helps you can run with out mid server.
The best practise is install the mid server and run the scheduled import.
If mid server, you should understand which server you are going to install and the ensure the connection with service now and microsoft intune from that server.

@ersureshbe sir which doc says "The best practise is install the mid server and run the scheduled import. "?
To my knowledge, MID server is needed only when you want to talk to something thats behind the company's firewall.
If not, then MID server is not required at all.
