Multisource CMDB not showing sources

SMARTINEZ

I am noticing that using MS CMDB I am not able to see other sources other than those that I know are going through IRE. Example ServiceNow and SCCM Graph connector show, but other sources like MobileIron, ITS Jamf (not SGC connector), or even the old Legacy SCCM that is still running in a test environment is not.

I do not see anywhere that it states the source must be run through the IRE in order to leverage the Multisource CMDB functions, so was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Should the other sources be updated to leverage IRE??

Hello @scottl

Can you please elaborate your question a little bit? Have you sent your input payload through IRE? Is CMDB 360 enabled on your instance? Is it a CI class or non CI class( like cmdb_key_value or other class which doesn't extend cmdb_ci)

If a CMDB 360 record doesn't exist for a CI, (CI couldn't have been created earlier or before enabling CMDB 360), send another payload for the same CI( either through discovery/SGC/Manually via IRE payload). CMDB 360 will update the record even if the same existing data is sent through IRE.
If i misunderstood your question, please elaborate on your question with an example.

Can you please elaborate your question a little bit? YES
Have you sent your input payload through IRE? YES
Is CMDB 360 enabled on your instance? YES
Is it a CI class or non CI class: CI Class (Computer)

If a CMDB 360 record doesn't exist for a CI: CMDB 360 record exists
CMDB 360 will update the record even if the same existing data is sent through IRE:  That is not true, as I have data within 360 data records that does not update the CI, i.e the assigned_to field. Note there is no reconciliation rules either.

The product does not work as expected. It should show in the JSON payload the data that updated the record, it does not.
