Relations in service maps.

I have created a Tag based servicemap. which looks like this:

whenever I click on the arrow line connecting two CIs, it is described as Connection i.e. manual endpoint. This happens for all the lines in the map.

I want to know:

1) Are these lines supposed to tell the relations like runs on, used by etc. or these lines are only describes as connection.

2) My map looks flat(horizontal) right now, how can I make it more vertical and detailed.

Refer the below response.

1) Are these lines supposed to tell the relations like runs on, used by etc. or these lines are only describes as connection. :  These lines only just to showcase the connection between two CI like if any transaction or connection happening between two Ci using the config file.

2) My map looks flat(horizontal) right now, how can I make it more vertical and detailed. : its not horizontal, Its showcasing top to down hierarchy for for Application Service, You can not change the view like Vertical and detailed like dependency map.
