Scripted REST API to create /update CMDB CI

Dear Friends,

Looking for REST API for CMDB, so that users can consume and pass inputs and CI will be created into UNIX/LINUX CI Classes.

Please let us know what would be best approach to create this.

that's not how CMDB CI table is populated.

CMDB CI table gets populated using different data sources such as Discovery or via SCCM integration etc

why you want CIs to be created using API?

Hi Ankur, Thanks for your reply. We knew that CMDB CI are created from SCCM or Discovery But there are some users who is already creating Linux CI's manually. 

To avoid those manual creation, we would like to give them a REST API where they can pass inputs to create and Update CI.
