Can any one please answer to the below Question with an example.

  1. Is a CI can only belong to one service?
  2. Can a service have a requirement for another service?
  3. How is high availability accounted for? (a service had 2 devices in HA, if one device is down there is no impact to the service but if 2 are down the service is down).

Hi @Mahaboob Johny5,

  1. Is a CI can only belong to one service? - A CI might belong to one ore several dynamic CI Group.
  2. Can a service have a requirement for another service? - A service can have multiple service offerings (each made available as separate catalog items) with different service level agreements (SLAs). This is a point-in-time effort to build new functionality or deliver a business change, such as deploying a new application.
  3. How is high availability accounted for? (a service had 2 devices in HA, if one device is down there is no impact to the service but if 2 are down the service is down) -  High availability is accounted for in ServiceNow by monitoring the status of both devices and updating the service status to "Down" only if both HA devices are down.

Thank you, please make helpful if you accept the solution.
