Short description on work order template will not save

Trying to create Work Order Templates and everything in the fields will keep except for short description. It accepts input in the string field but when published it disappears and is not visible (telling me field is empty). We would like to populate this so when users create a new work order and select the template it populates for them.

 

I do not see and dictionary configs to disallow and do not see any acls that could be blocking it. Any insight / help would be appreciated.

Could you please check if there is any property that is blocking it? Technically it should work. Or are you referring to the correct field? Please share some screenshots.

As i said I do not see any property blocking it. It is mandatory so we need to put the short in there but it doesnt save.
