Short description on work order template will not save

Trying to create Work Order Templates and everything in the fields will keep except for short description. It accepts input in the string field but when published it disappears and is not visible (telling me field is empty). We would like to populate this so when users create a new work order and select the template it populates for them.

I do not see and dictionary configs to disallow and do not see any acls that could be blocking it. Any insight / help would be appreciated.

I wish. Its led down to a rabbit hole for me. Short description according to SN is not on the wm_order_template table and does not contain that field. However I cannot locate the table to verify in my instance at all, so up against a wall to verify this. SN states it is indeed a table and should be locatable but thus far using url, tables and columns, etc it has not yet been found.

Definitely think this is the issue. When i go to Service Order model and attempt to create a new one, it doesnt give me a catalog to select.
