Stale CIs are being updated but still show under Staleness metric

Hi all, 

 

I've been doing some research into Stale CIs in my platform.
I've checked both the CMDB Health Dashboard and the CMDB Health Results table, and on both, it shows that the CIs are being updated by "system" almost daily. 

 

Recently, I've also executed the Correctness Scheduled Job, and it lowered the amount...

One thing that is good to consider is that all of the CIs have Discovery Sources from different integrations.

 

I've pasted an evidence of what I'm saying. All from cmdb_ci_computer CIs, updated by System, and Discovery Source being Azure integration.

 

Any idea?

Hi @Tellandre 

 

The Updated date what you are showing from the screenshot is from the CMDB Health result table not from the Actual CI record. I believe the actual CI must be stale.

I've managed to add the Most Recent Discovery to the Health result table, and the Computers are really Stale. They weren't discovered for more than 3 months.

The Staleness metric uses the MRD field to evaluate the CIs, correct?
