Hello,
Currently I am working to implement CMDB Data Management policies, and am having trouble figuring out how to track work done on the CMDBTASKs. Before approval on the task, there are two related lists, one showing the CIs being reviewed for retirement, and one for the approvers. After approval/the flow runs, the task is completed and the CI related list is hidden. The records are also deleted from the cmdb_data_management_task_to_ci table that was relating the CIs to that CMDBTASK. The approvals related list also gets cleared, with the assigned to field being the only way to track who approved the record. Is there any out of box way to track what CIs are retired and who approves the CMDB task? We could certainly add functionality to log this information to the close notes or work notes, but I would like to avoid this if there is a simpler solution. It feels like I am missing something that should at least show what CIs were retired by the task. Thanks!

An enhancement for tracking retire/archive/delete activity in a task is still in the product roadmap, however this is being pushed out to 2027.
