Use of Desired State Audits for alm_asset classes

Hi all,
When creating a Desired State Audit template, I can create a filter on alm_asset classes. But when I adjust the filter and want reference it to the template, it does not show. It looks like that the filter does not select filter on alm tables.

My question is: is this how it should be, or is it an error within ServiceNow (because it allows me to create a new filter, but not select an updated one)?

And if standard Desired State Audits is not to be used for alm classes, how can I audit correctness of asset records.

Cheers,
Arno
