In this session we discuss the how Digital Portfolio Management supports a Digital Product vision and CSDM. CSDM guidance provides customers an approach to manage the full lifecycle of their Digital Products and Services.  Digital Portfolio Management brings together the Application and Service portfolios into one user experience.  A Digital Product Manager who owns both the Business Application and Service can now use DPM to see both aspects in one place.

Great discussion Mark/Caitlin!  Any guidance on the mapping between Business Application and Product?  In DPM (Plan/Build tabs) there seems to be a dependency between Business Application and Product 'name' to query/filter the Agile lists properly (Story/Epic/Theme).

I don't know what ServiceNow's future plans are in this area, but I found if I named the Agile Product EXACTLY the same as the Business Application, then all of the agile elements turned up in DPM for that Business Application.

So, I suspect at the time, and based on early drafts of CSDM 5.0, that they will be merged - but - it could change right?
