Are there any Naming Standards for Business Applications?

We are currently running an exercise to define all the Business Applications for our organisation.  Just wanted to understand if there are any naming standards for Business Applications?  We are not trying to be too prescriptive,  however something around what syntax they allow, guides on when to use Acronym versus full names or both, and anything else that might be relevant.

I think it totally depends on Application type in business and organization.

Some organization may have naming standards for business application they are maintaining.
