Bizzdesign integration data from custom interfaces table

Hi All, 

I am currently working on Bizzdesign integration setup in our shop, as part of the Integration we have installed the "Bizzdesign Integration" plugin and configured couple of entity types (Applications and Interfaces) in servicenow. 

* Applications data is sourced from cmdb_ci_service table
* Interfaces data is sourced from a custom table u_cmdb_ci_interfaces (This is a legacy custom table that was created with data as interface-name, source-application, target-application)

when we exported the data from serviceNow to Bizzdesign, we are able to browse Application entity where it also shows relationships (as defined in cmdb_rel_ci table). However, when we browse the interfaces entity it show the source-application and target-application as its parameters and not as a related components and because of that we are not able to establish a detailed network relationships.

Question

1) Can the Bizzdesign integration work with customer table also? or  the integration work seamlessly with CBMD tables that are part of CSDM?

2) How to setup/change the linktype in Bizzdesign type mapping that can take data from custom table and not from CBMD_REL_CI table? 

3) In servicenow under Bizzdesign integration application --> outbound, we only see "entity type" and there is no outbound data option for "link type", how does bizz design know the relationship between the applications?
