We have recently adopted the Certificate Management module in ServiceNow and created an initial inventory via bulk upload and also began discovery various CAs.
I am curious about the connection to other modules and CMDB classes that we can begin to utilize. We believe in the value of aligning our CMDB to CSDM, but I could not find much content on relationship from the unique certificate table to other modules (i.e. APM (business app, service instance).
As anyone had success or added value by creating relationships to various certificates?

I too have not seen anything related to certificate management within the CSDM.
Certificates are usually installed on a specific deployed infrastructure CI - as such using CSDM guidance this should live below the Business App (because this object does not refer to a specific environment) or Service Instance (because this is a "summary" CI representing the deployed stack of CIs below it) and the relationship should be to the specific CI on which the certificate is installed.
In the spirit of the CMDB being as close to the actual installation and deployment of the "real" hardware and software as possible, I would expect something like an "installed on" CI Relationship between the certificate and the (typically) server CI on which it is installed.
