There is a standard CI table where store VDI information ?
VDI are see as VM on ESX and for this reason go under windows CI or linux CI, but the organization flow is differend from a normal VM server. where you normally store this CI ?
CIs would live on both cmdb_ci_server tables and cmdb_ci_vm_instance tables. The server class are more from SN discovery or sccm and is focus on the OS running on that hardware/VM vs the vm CI classes are more focus on the Virtual side of the house. Both are needed and both are used in different use cases.
