Hi All,
I'm hoping someone has a complete list of Business Applications, Applications Services, and Service Offerings for all ServiceNow products to map out in the CMDB. The CSDM Data Model Examples provides a lexicon with some examples, but I'm hoping someone has a full breakdown that I can use.

I would recommend against that for a few reasons.
1. This assumes you are implementing ALL service now products as Business Applications, and would have them mixed in with your other Business Applications, even if you don't own or implement. The examples indicates this is plausible, but this isn't practical to load them all up if you don't use or own the product(s).
2. Often customers will brand a product we sell in order to make it your own. For example, we have implemented ServiceNow for a few different uses known as HI and Surf (used internally) and refer to these names, not ServiceNow. I have seen many customers implement ServiceNow ITSM as "Help Desk Central" or some other name that's unique to your organization.
There may be other gotcha's involved in taking a carte-blanche approach to loading in our whole portfolio, but do understand the ask. It's valid to cherry pick which ones you purchase to load and tailor the detail as you implement ServiceNow in general.

Hi Mark,
This is where i struggle in terms of Application Product Models in Agile Development. Surely we need all the Products added so we can reference them against Epics and Stories? Also in relation to the Digital Portfolio the reference between Products and Business Applications.
Thanks
Mark

Hey @Mark Bodman ,
While I understand your point, I feel that it would be beneficial for ServiceNow to put out this information to act as a starting point for customers. We can then take that information, and modify/implement it to appropriately match our implementation and business needs.

How can "ServiceNow MID Server" be in class cmdb_ci_service_discovered, i.e. what would you use as an endpoint for the MID servers setting this up?
