Have any of you successfully leveraged Information Objects for a Change Blackout Schedule? We're trying to figure this out, but we're having no success so far.
Prior to the implementation of Information Objects in ServiceNow, we were creating Blackout Schedules for change management with manually listed CIs that were known to be financially-relevant, or have SOX importance, etc. The problem there is that it's a manually-maintained list.
We've since created relationships to Information Objects that represent these data types, such as "SOX Compliance", "Financial Information", "PCI-DSS", etc. (see "InfoObjects..." image). However, while this is great to identify applications, services and databases through which these types of information flow, the Change Blackout Schedule sees Business Services, CIs (including Information Objects) and Change Requests, but a Blackout Schedule based on one of these has no way to filter to objects linked to the Information Objects. CMDB queries do not help, since Information Objects don't even show up there.
I believe Information Objects are a great way to identify the types of data flowing through our systems, but have any of you successfully leveraged these for a Change Blackout Schedule?
