Hi all,
I have a new requirement where I need to create a Catalog Item (form) that contains several fields that also exist in the sys_user table. Our sys_user table is synchronized with Active Directory (AD), and this sync runs every hour — so any updates in AD automatically reflect in the sys_user table (fields like first name, last name, user ID, phone number, etc.).
Here’s what I need to achieve:
A user submits the new catalog form.
The request goes for approval to the user’s manager.
Once the manager approves, the corresponding fields (like first name, last name, phone number, etc.) should be automatically updated in Active Directory.
To achieve this, I have installed the Microsoft Active Directory v2 Spoke in my instance.
Could anyone please guide me on:
How to use the AD v2 Spoke to update user details in Active Directory automatically once the manager approves?
Any sample flows or actions I can refer to?
Best practices for handling AD updates through Flow Designer?
Thanks in advance for your help!
