Hi Team,
As per the existed data with me, I attempted to insert new life cycle mapping records for cmdb_ci_server. So, As per the below table, Out of 9 records, 6 are already available in Life Cycle Mapping Table. However, while inserting the remaining last 3, we encountered an error related to reverse syncing.
Check Table Snap: "Table of 9 Records.png"
It is showing Error: Due to confliction in Life Cycle Control marked with 3 different color, unable to insert new records.
Check Error Snap: "Error Snap while inserting.png"
It appears that the Life Cycle Control table does not allow the creation of these records due to conflicts within Life Cycle Control. As a result, we are unable to create the new records. However, as per the requirement, the last 3 new records are mandatory, just like the existing ones.
How can I avoid or bypass this error and successfully add these new records to the Life Cycle mapping, for the activation of the plugin? Please provide the best solution.
It is mandatory to insert the last three records along with the existing ones in order to activate the plugin.

Hi @mihirgupta
It is a little difficult to understand your question, but it seems you have an issue entering a Life Cycle Control.
The error message is telling you that you cannot have two Life Cycle Controls mapped to the same table but different status values, unless you untick the Reverse sync option within the Life Cycle Control table. If you have Reverse sync activated, when you enter a Life Cycle value into a record and save, it will use the Life Cycle Mappings table to select an Install Status. It cannot do that if you have two different values mapped to one Life Cycle Control.
For Install status = Retired you are attempting to map it to a non-Retired Life Cycle control - Configuration Item - Operational - In Maintenance. This makes no sense and is not a valid mapping anyway.
I hope this helps!
