How to get practical knowledge on CSDM & where to find practical information

I am new to CSDM. I have gone through the CSDM fundamentals course in now learning. But there is no practical exercises on stages of CSDM about how to use and where we need to use. I am trying to understand the Life cycle mappings but not getting how it is working. Please suggest on how to get practical knowledge on real time examples and where can I get practical demo videos.
