Service Builder- Ui Builder: Error: unable to fetch variable values for producer

We are leveraging OOTB Service Builder for creation and update of Business Service and its related Service offerings, In scope and Out scope. Service Builder - https://<instance-name>.service-now.com/now/builder/service/home 

Business Service and Service offering forms exists OOTB.

We have added Scope[service_scope] by duplicating the existing OOTB functionality, i.e. created wizard for scope in Catalog wizard table, composite record producer for Scope table and In scope/ Out scope pages in Service Builder.

I have then configured the creation of scope.

However, when I try to open an existing record it gives me error 'unable to fetch variable values for producer'.

Not sure that I understand fully what you have tried to do, but have you tried utilizing the OOTB approval flow that comes together with Service Builder?

The issue here is more on the UI level. I guess I did not explain my issue properly, I have updated my post and added some images for reference as well.
