Hi Everyone,
I am working on a SOAP integration in ServiceNow using Flow Designer. The external SOAP service uses Basic Authentication, and the requests need to be sent through a MID Server.
So far, I have:
Created the SOAP Message from the WSDL.
Configured Basic Authentication on the SOAP Message.
Now I want to invoke this SOAP Message from Flow Designer using the SOAP action. However, the SOAP step asks for the following:
Connection
Connection Alias
I have a few questions:
Do I need to create a Connection and Connection & Credential Alias separately, even though Basic Authentication is already configured on the SOAP Message?
How do I associate the SOAP Message with the Connection/Connection Alias?
How can I pass dynamic values from the Flow into the SOAP function input parameters?
Is there any end-to-end documentation or example that explains the recommended approach for SOAP integrations using Flow Designer, Basic Authentication, and a MID Server?
Any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
