Hi Community,
I have a hard time to differentiate between business application with application model and software model. How do you use them? Is there a connection between them?
For example, if I buy a license from CATIA, how should I maintain the data? What if I buy a database software and deploy it to the PROD environment?
Thank you all.

Hi @major li, you're right it's quite confusing. In this case the Application Model is related to Agile Module in ServiceNow. If you manage your development process with ServiceNow for your Howngrown software or customisation for other software products, then you can structure your backlogs with this application models.

Hi @Daniel Borkowi1, thank you.
I have a follow-up questions. for example, I bought a new software version 1.0 and customized it. Does it mean that I need to maintain Application Model, Software Model, Business application?

Hi @major li , it's not mandatory, but if you want to use the Agile Development Application for tracking the user stories for your customizations the this is the link between your Business Applications and your Stories.
