Guided tours for Change Management

New to servicenow and forum so I hope this is the best location to ask..

 

Im created a guided tour for change management and tried multiple different start pages as the CONTEXT (example: change_request.do) and the URL full path when I created the actual tour.

 

When I edit in design and  select "play" the tour starts but only after a few seconds - not instant like others.

 

When I create a new change the tour never starts - not even if I point my browser back to the URL originally found in the tour creation


Any help is appreciated

When you click "New" to create a new record, the actual URL is "change_request.do?sys_id=-1", so try to set this as Context.

 

Also, verify that the user you are testing with has the role(s) added to the "Roles" field of the Guided Tour.

WE changed the context to:  change_request.do?sys_id=-1  Sadly, no joy - see attached.
