How to create a Lead Record Summary similar to OOTB Quote Summary?

Hi Team,

I want to create a Lead record summary similar to the existing Quote Summary available in ServiceNow out-of-the-box functionality.

My requirement is to have the Lead record display a summary in a similar format/layout as the Quote Summary. I would like to understand the process, configuration steps, and best approach to achieve this.

Could anyone please help with the following?

  • Is this possible using OOTB configuration only, or does it require customization?
  • Which components/features are used behind the Quote Summary?
  • How can I replicate the same kind of summary for the Lead table/record?
  • Are there any recommended best practices or limitations I should consider?

I am attaching an image of the existing Quote Summary for reference so it is easier to understand the requirement.

Any guidance, documentation references, or implementation steps would be very helpful.

Thank you for sharing the document.

I reviewed it, but it appears to be specific to OOTB Quote Summary customization in Now Assist for CPQ. In my case, the requirement is different: I need to generate a Lead Summary for the Lead record, similar in layout and behavior to the existing Quote Summary.

Also, in the shared documentation, it does not seem possible to change the table name, so it looks limited to Quote Summary only.

I am specifically looking for guidance on the following:

  • Whether Lead Summary is supported OOTB or requires customization
  • Which components or framework are used behind the existing Quote Summary
  • How the same type of summary can be implemented for the Lead table
  • Any best practices or limitations to consider

If you have any documentation, implementation steps, or examples specifically for Lead Summary or extending this capability beyond Quote, please share.
