Agent productivity for internal tasks

Hi, 

Currently we are using case management (with custom "self-reported" category and relevant subcategories) to log and track agent activity for internal tasks. These activities does not require any customer notification, communication. 

I am looking for an alternative solution to open such 'quick tickets' in order to be able to log and track these internal tasks/activities (the info I would need from the ticket is agent name, type of the task).
