CIS-CSM Exam

Hello and good morning. I will be taking the CIS-CSM exam in the near future. Could anyone please provide details on how the exam is graded. Meaning, if you are asked to select multiple answers, do you need to get all correct to get credit for that question, or do you get partial credit for those choices you answered correctly? Thank you!

Everything is mentioned in the exam blueprint.

Did you get a chance to check?

Hi @Sal D

It looks like no one has actually answered the question you asked yet, so here goes...

For all ServiceNow assessments, you get no credit for partially correctly answered questions. Your answer is only considered correct if get it exactly right.

So, for example, if the answer to a particular question is A, B & D but you give the answer as A & B, or A, C & D, your answer will be marked wrong.

I hope that helps!

Hi @Sal D ,

If a question asks you to select multiple answers, you must select all correct choices to receive credit. Partial credit is not granted if you only get some of them right. It's an all or nothing scoring approach... Once you submit your exam, you’ll receive a simple Pass or Fail result based on whether your score meets the internal cut score threshold.....

If you found my response helpful, please mark it as ‘Accept as Solution’ and ‘Helpful’. This helps other community members find the right answer more easily and supports the community.
