Hi Community,
We recently installed CSM on our instance. I understood now that it came with many Query Business Rules which are responsible for displaying or not the contracts to users.
What I don't understand is that the user I do my tests with, has the contract_manager role. Weirdly enough, that user can't see any contracts unless the 'account' and/or 'consumer' is filled in on that contract, as described in this KA:
https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0782329
Now here's my requirement/question:
I haven't found solid information on what I need to fill in these fields on contracts.
Imagine MyCompany sells services to CustomerCompany. in that senario, I'm assuming the consumer is CustomerCompany, as they will consume that service ?
So what am I supposed to do with the account field ? put MyCompany in it ? which means that I'd have to create an account for my own company ?
and last question, what happens with the 'vendor' field then on contract records ?
Thank you very much in advance if anyone could clarify that to me. Also don't hesitate to ask me more details if something isn't clear in my explanation.
Thanks !
