Hi
Working on implementing Customer Service Management but have a question around creating and managing contacts on the customer facing portal.
The SN documentation seems to refers "Manage Users" but I can only see "View Contacts". The user I am testing with has the sn_customerservice.customer_admin role but cant add users from View Contacts, they have to add them via the catalog option & "Create Contact"
Once a new contact is created there is no approval, they just show in the View contacts list but without a userid?
Maybe I have misunderstood what that sn_customerservice.customer_admin role could do in terms of creating and managing contacts in the CSM portal.

There is no any feature OOTB for Create Contact directly from the Portal, you have to go trough the main page under the menu Customer Service > Customers > Contacts and create a new Contact.
Hope this will clarify your doubt.

Hi,
be careful, the documentation is reffering to the "old" CMS portal (suffix /customer_service), not the new portal (suffix /csm). From the second one, you can only view the contacts, but can't create a new one directly from the portal.

I thought that might be the case but at times I struggle to differentiate between the documentation for the old and new portals.
Do you know if there is pre-defined process for creating a Contact in the CMS Portal.
