Email draft is automatically generated on Configurable Workspace

On a CSM workspace instance, a UI Policy was set to always request additional comments whenever a case status is marked as "Canceled".

After providing the necessary additional comments, the case can be saved and the status is set as canceled. Nothing else is expected to happen with that case.

Nevertheless, an email draft is automatically generated for the canceled case.

A HI case was opened for this and HI team suggested that the email draft is being generated precisely because the UI Policy is forcing the additional comments field as mandatory and that such is the OOTB behaviour of the Configurable Workspace.

I don't see the connection between a case form UI Policy and the email draft.

Any advise or comment on this would be much appreciated!
