Form Design Greyed out

Hi All,

I am on Version: New York

I have been trying to configure the workspace on ServiceNow and I have come to a blocker where i am unable to edit the form in form design. All the fields are grayed out and when i drag fields into the form it goes pink, not allowing me to drag anything into the forms. 

I have the admin and personalize_form roles including the personalize_form plugin installed and i am in customer service application.

Please find attached some screenshots of the problem i am experiencing.

if you want to change the layout of case for workspace , you have to set the application as "CSM Workspace" and then you have to select the view "workspace" then you will able to make some change.

then change the view on form design

Now you will able to add fields and it will reflect on workspace.

Hey,

 

What you are facing is a scope issue , if you change your scope to GLOBAL you might be able to edit it.

I tested the same with incident.

 

Mark my ANSWER as CORRECT and HELPFUL if it works

Hi, I changed the scope to Global and there is no difference. I am still unable to make changes to it.

I also checked the below settings and the value is set to true.

  1. Enter sys_properties.list in the navigation filter.
  2. Locate the glide.ui.personalize_form property in the System Properties list.
  3. Set the Value field to false.
