How to activate agent assist for a new table in configurable workspace?

Use case: We have created a new case type (new table extending the base Case table) and we would like to show the same Agent Assist there that is OOB available in the base Case table when using CSM Configurable Workspace.

I have followed the steps here to configure it. 

Problem: After configuration based on above link, the Agent Assist DOES become visible in the old Agent Workspace, but not in the CSM Configurable Workspace. 

What is missing then?
