How to create read only role possibility of specific case types

Hi, 

There is a requirement on my current project, where an agent that goes to the CSM/FSM workspace, they should only be allowed to read cases from a specific case type and not be able to see other cases from another case type

To simplify, for example - An agent who works in room 1 should only be able to read cases in case type 1. An agent who works in room 2 should only be able to read cases in case type 2.

How do i set this up? i understand i need to start by creating a role, however, where do i go from here. Can somebody please provide their guidance and support here please.

Hi Daniel,

Each Case Type is its own table, so you could set up ACL rules on each table for the specific role(s) you create, and then control the access by access groups etc.
