Hi all, in customer service we have lost the 'type your message here' widget in the activity stream. It still exists for folks on the incident side, but 'cases' do not have it.
Is there a place to start looking to restore that functionality so end users can reply in the portal?
This is what should exist at the top of the portal activity stream
But it's just... gone!

I have found this is usually an ACL problem. Does the "customer" have write access to the comments field? if not the widget will not show the field to write it.
I would start there.

TY this was it, a role was modified pulling folks out of the ACL!
