I Need to disable /remove the OOB approval for REQ item.

how to achieve this?

@Abhilasha Gowda  - Did you open the req record and check what workflow is triggered for it. Then open workflow in editor and set it to inactive. Before doing so try to analyze if you are turning off is there any REQ which is really dependent on this workflow.

No other way but I recommend you, go through this article before taking action ahead as it will give a small glimpse what happens when approval is approved on req level.
