Portal Reports

I need to add reports to the CSM portal, and I was able to make them visible to customers using the information from this KB article: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-customer-service-management/page/product/customer-se...

However, the problem I’m facing now is that when a customer clicks on a report, it takes them to the platform, which they don’t have access to. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? Should I modify the OOB report widget or find another way to display reports on the portal?
