Registration Code mandatory on Customer Service Management Portal (CSM)

Hi

The Wiki pages indicate that customers can submit a self registration request thorough the portal with or without the registration code.

On our implementation of the CSM Portal this appears to be mandatory.

I have seen that the field if manadatory on the registration_request table but even unticking this does not appear to make any difference to the /csm/ portal.

Anyone come across this before?

From my understanding, the /csm portal requires a registration code in order for the customer to be associated with a company/account. The /csp portal should not require a registration code for consumers, as they don't need to be registered to anything other than some products.

SN have accepted this as a problem ticket. A customer should be able to register without the registration code but it should require additional approval.

Hi,

Do you know if there is an update for this issue? I am still seeing registration code as being mandatory in NewYork when trying to use self registration. If there is a still an open problem ticket does anyone have the reference number?
