Hi All,
I'm looking into service bridge as a potential for integrating with other ServiceNow instances for basic tasks, but I'm struggling to establish what level of dependency there is on CSM.
1: Is CSM a functional pre-requisite on the provider instance for service bridge to be installed and function as intended? This isn't an issue as we have CSM configured already on what would be considered the provider instance, but I'm curious.
2: More importantly, is CSM a functional pre-requisite on the customer instance for service bridge to integrate with the provider instance?
I've gone through google searches, the service bridge essentials course on Now Learning, etc. but this isn't clearly confirmed so would be grateful if someone could confirm the requirements on a high level basis. Many thanks in advance!

Hello @SNAdmin47 ,
Yes, CSM configuration needed in Producer Instance while setting up service bridge.
But in Consumer Instance CSM configuration not required.
Thank you!

Hi @Community Alums , different solution for the eBonding.... although if we had done it we wouldn't have been sending work_notes so that's not something we would have tried to do. I suspect that as the service bridge was intended for usage between a supplier (vendor) and a customer then the lack of work_notes field mapping is intentional

@SNAdmin47 , Okay. Thank you!
Yes it is intentional.
