'sold_product' field cannot be made mandatory/not mandatory on Case form

Hello Team

 

So I have encountered an issue on the case form:
1. I have pulled the 'Sold Product'(renamed to sold item just an FYI) onto the case form.

2. Field has been set to mandatory which is fine but I want to set it to not mandatory depending on some conditions I have created in a UI Policy.

The 'mandatory' checkbox on the dictionary of the field is greyed out and is greyed out/read only within a UI Policy.

I have tried all applicable scopes(global, customer service & customer service install base management) and every time the field is greyed out.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks! 
Does anyone know what might be causing this and have a solution? thanks.

Hello @Sonu Parab thank you for your response, but it appears to have no issues(see screenshot)when utilising the debugger, the mandatory field is greyed out still and prevents me from setting it.
Any ideas why this may be occuring?
