Standard case transformation to major case

Hi,

 

Is there an option to turn a standard parent case into a major case? Without creating a new major case.

 

Let's say a standard case was raised in error instead of major case. Can I change it in any way from standard to major? Or the only option is to create a new major case and replace the standard one?

Hi @Angelika3 ,

If I remember correctly, if you have a standard case, and ALL of the following fields are empty:

 

- Account

- Contact

- Consumer

 

and then you propose that as a major case candidate and follow the approval process, then it should turn into a major case without creating a new major case.

 

However, if any of those fields are set, a new major case will be created and the parent case for the existing case will be set to that case.
