Student Registration

Greetings

We are looking for a new student registration module for high school students to register, select courses, register and pay and interact with our online distance education office.  We wondered if anyone had developed this type of process in SN and if they could provide details.  The logical place seems to be Customer Service since the students would not have credentials to login and interact like typical college students.

We would appreciate any suggestions or comments.  If you have suggestions outside of SN, that is Ok as well.

You would probably want to allow users to register for an account, as long as they are not taking up an ITIL license it would be a benefit to have a little control over the users.

After that I believe the best place to setup something like this would be on the service portal, you'll be able to create an end user interface which should allow for pretty much everything you're wanting to do in one way or another using workflows, forms, etc...

Thanks for the prompt response.

Steve are you suggesting using the out of box service portal with the shopping cart vs. customer service?  That way we could leverage the forms, catalog, etc.?
